Pepper Steak with Rice & Peas

We love having these meals, they are so unbelievably tasty. They curry goat and steak meals are our absolute favourites. Couldn’t recommend these meal’s enough.

The meals ordered arrived well packaged, looked hygienic, well frozen and secure. Have tried the pepper steak with rice and peas also ackee and salt fish with plain rice. The flavours are good and meals tasted as if freshly cooked after reheating in the microwave. The only thing is that there is excess fat in each meal. The excess fat was easier to remove in the steak dish than it was in the salt fish and ackee dish. Please reduce the fat content. Other than that in my opion it is a excellent product.

Firstly, the delivery was right on time, and it was packaged really well, everything frozen good the pepper steak was perfect in my opinion, soft and plenty of it, seasoning very good, just added a little hot sauce to mine rice was good and came out the microwave really nice which surprised me to be honest. I plated up just over half the pepper steak and all the rice n peas, and I also added half the steam okra with fresh veg meal which was perfect for me, tasted so good I manage to box off the rest I was tryna save for later, had a nice little doze after that. Perfect for the times when you can’t be bothered to cook and just want some good food 10/10 for me I would recommend and I will be ordering again thank you

Could do with a bit more pepper

Easy to prepare. Loved the rice and peas. Lots of steak in the dish but it was a little bland, lacking salt I think. Made my own coleslaw to go with it.

The peppered steak was the business. Hot and spicy how i like. Real Jamaician food!! Was full up with this helping.

I found this site and thought I would give these meals a try. I’ve tried jamaica ready meals in the past but can honestly says these are the best I’ve tasted hands down. The curry goat and pepper steak taste absolutely amazing and so fresh even after been frozen. I’ve already put in my next order. Love it.

Great meal

This was tasty. Lots of beef. Problem for me was that it was so hot! The level of spice hotness on the box stated ‘mild’ but I definitely found this HOT! Again, I don’t like my food too spicy/hot. I always put a good side of coleslaw on my plate but still found it spicy. I’m only giving this feedback as a lot of people might think because it says mild on the box that it’s mild. Having said that, my brother thought it was fine and asked if I had any hot pepper sauce he could add lol

Bought for my husband and he loved it...I tasted it also and it tasted good. Rice portion was on the small side. Another one I'll order again.

The steak was superb so tasty and melted in the mouth, I can honestly say I've tried all except the salt fish, and would recommend the complete menu, well done Jamaica on ice.

The Peppered Steak was so tasty, just enough fire for me and there was the right balance of meat and rice. Thank you JOI it was a joy to eat. I’m sharing with my elderly Mum for days when she can’t cook, I know she is nourished by food prepared lovingly. My only problem is…. I don’t have enough storage to buy as much as I want

Best caribbean food I've had for a long time

The flavour was spot on. for me it was very pepper hot, the rice and peas was lovely my grandson loved all of it. Having the oxtail tomorrow.

This was for an old friend who had a stroke currently at home so cooking is difficult. I sent this to him and he loved it. Unfortunately your delivery left the food in a lobby down stairs and drove off after being buzzed in by the customer.

I had not had pepper steak before my first purchase and I was very surprised by how tasty it was. The heating instructions were clear and simple and I think this also helped. Have already ordered more.

The food taste fabulous, the meat very tender. Delivery took some time but not too bad because of Christmas. I will definitely order again.

Rice fluffy , steak tender, sauce flavourful but not too spicy for those who like less heat, portions size excellent.
