What kind of food does Jamaica On Ice offer?

We specialise in authentic frozen Jamaican ready meals handmade in the UK - like Jerk Chicken, Oxtail, Curry Goat, and Ackee & Saltfish. Big flavour, no prep.

Are your meals cooked from scratch?

Yes! All meals are chef-prepared using traditional recipes, cooked fresh, and flash frozen for maximum taste and convenience.

How big are the portions?

Each main meal is approx. 550g — a generous, hearty portion. Many customers share or save half for later.

Are your meals spicy?

Some dishes have a Caribbean kick, but we balance heat with flavour. Heat ratings are shown on product pages.

Do you offer vegan or vegetarian meals?

Yes — we offer delicious plant-based meals like Steamed Okra, Chickpea Curry, and Red Pea Soup.

What’s the delivery cost and where do you deliver?

We ship across Mainland UK (England, Scotland & Wales).

Orders under £75: £7.99 frozen courier fee
Orders over £75: Free delivery

When will my order arrive?

Orders are shipped within 4–5 working days, delivered Tues–Fri on a next-day delivery service.

You’ll get a dispatch email or text with your delivery day and tracking link.

What if I miss my delivery?

Our courier may leave with a neighbour, in a safe place, or contact you.
If no one is available and delivery fails, we cannot offer refunds due to the perishable nature of our meals.

Can I send meals to someone else?

Yes! Add a different delivery address at checkout — perfect for gifts, students, or loved ones.

Will the weather affect my delivery?

In extreme heat or icy weather, delivery may be delayed.
We cannot offer refunds for delays caused by conditions outside our control.
If food arrives partially thawed but still chilled, it is safe to refreeze or cook immediately.

How do I cook the meals?

Heat straight from frozen. Microwave and oven instructions are on the label.

Microwave: ~8–10 mins
Oven: ~40–45 mins

Can I store meals in the fridge?

Meals should be kept frozen. If fully thawed, consume within 12 hours and do not refreeze.
How long do the meals last in the freezer?
Up to 6 months from delivery.

What’s the minimum order?

The minimum order is £40 to ensure safe frozen delivery.

Do you offer bundles or discounts?

Yes! Save with 5‑, 7‑, or 10‑meal bundles starting at £38.99.

Are your meals halal or gluten-free?

Many meals are naturally gluten-free. All meals are halal certified.

Do you list allergens?

Yes — full ingredients and allergens are shown on the box and online.

If reported within this window, we’ll do our best to resolve the issue with a replacement or refund, at our discretion.
