Delicious well prepared and packaged meals...worth purchasing tasty food.

All food packages arrived sealed and in vgc. Very pleasant tasty meals and well prepared.

The best food I’ve tasted in a long time. The flavours are super not hot and peppery. I will buy all the time.

Mostly bone and little gravy so was too dry

Loved this, these meal are enough for two people, couple with adding veg etc making them great value for money

I am very particular with my oxtail. This is just how I like it to taste flavoured not hot. I buy regularly and delivered to my door by dpd they are a good courier and lets me know the day and time slot. Anyone who is unsure don’t be you will be hooked. Keep doing what you do Mark.

Had our first meal tonight. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The rice was fluffy and soft. The meat was succulent with plenty of tasty gravy and the seasoning was spot on. We can’t wait to try the rest of our meals.

So yummy and the portions are so big we literally have been stuffed.I love Jamaican food and tend to get a takeaway as no one else sells it.i spent the same amount on 9 meals as I would 1 takeaway and we're normally not full with a takeaway.I will definitely be ordering more.We got oxtail which my son loves.Curry goat which is my favourite,sooo nice and jerk chicken which we haven't tried yet,maybe tomorrow . Everything is so tasty.its a no brainer instead of a takeaway.Delivery was great too.its says 5 working days,on 5th day I got a message from DHL and in the morning I had my parcel.xxx I've recommended to all my friends and family x

Food was delivered on time. The Oxtail and rice and Peas was really nice, which I'm impressed, foodvi is authentic which is very hard to find. I haven't tried the other food I ordered happy to know I can freeze and have at anytime for convenience. I will order again.

I can tell you took care with packaging but two of tge rice had busted. The silver bag every large perhss u could get smaller and I think itsy be down to dpd for damages. But I love the food very happy thanks.

Woooiiiiii! Wa cuda nais suh?! The ONLY problem was that the bones were not soft enough to chaaw down but it did nice bad bad! This oxtail made my week!

The oxtail was divine! I'm going to buy loads more this month and stock them up in my freezer.

Upon receipt of the oxtail with rice and peas after cooking in the oven my nose was met with a smell that took me back to my childhood.. I'm at my Grandma's house on a Sunday and it's dinner time. The smell was only surpassed by the taste. Very authentic the oxtail was tender succulent moist and well seasoned. The rice and peas cooked to perfection. Very happy customer. Absolutely delicious oxtail. Of course, I can make this myself, but this is an amazing substitute for when I simply don't have time. Generous portion, enough gravy, which for a lot of Carib food is missing.

Looked the part and also very very tasty. I tried microwaving it this time and to be fair, the rice was a little drier than I like but I can experiment with that - plus there was enough gravy to take care of things. Very impressive for a cook from frozen meal and I will be stocking up my freezer. A freezer food day can now also be a good food day rather than a ‘council house tea’ - apologies if that offends anyone!

If you are wondering whether you should place a order or not, let me tell you, you need not wait a minute longer. Their meals are so flavoursome and tasty, plus the portions are very generous. I hv tasted a variety of their meals and they are ALL tasty and finger licking good. I LOVE the Oxtail, and I sometimes add a small salad of cucumber, tomatoes & advocado pear which blends in lovely with my meal. The only regret that I have is that I had found this company sooner. Oh..... , and one more thing......, their customer services are brilliant. What are you waiting for? Go do your order now!!!! You'll be licking your fingers in delight very soon.

Oxtail and rice and peas is very tasty my mum was a very good cook and its as my mum would have cooked it. My son does not eat frozen rice and he tasted it and is now hooked.

To say I am impressed by this company and the food would be an understatement. Firstly all items arrived well packaged with ice packs and were all well sealed. The taste oh my!!!! Tastes so fresh and yummy. My sons and I loved every single meal. Already placing my next order that's how tasty the food is!!!!

Lovely... very rich. Very spicy but not as hot as jerk or curry goat. Still the coconut is undetectable in the rice and peas, which is a shame. Portion size very good. Will def order the ox tail again.

Loved the FEEL ... This recipe includes meat on - the - bone, so the 'feel' of it, was part of enjoying this DISH ( for me ). Because I part - ate with hands on ... The following ( on line ) visit to Jamaica on Ice, of - course I bought MORE of these, than this time. I AM a petite WOMAN, and / so this meal left me 'feeling' satisfied in the body, which is a sign of having received a calorie dense / calibrated, and GOOD MEAL ... 10 / 10 for now, because I HAVEN'T HAD better anywhere else ...

I think your Oxtail meal is one of your best as the meat slides off the bone and is just as tender as it should

Got my 3rd order from JOI, and it didn't disappoint. The flavours are just amazing, meat tender and tastes just like home made. Portion size could be a bit bigger if I had to find a fault, my husband liked it that much...Definitely recommend and Definitely will be buying again...

There definitely was not as much oxtail as advertised on website will not re order this item .

I just love oxtail rice and peas, I was keeping them for special occasions but every day seems special

Feedback from my 94 year old father is that the food is very nice but the peppered steak is much too hot for him.

Mum loves it (she is 91) and says its got a bite to it with lots of pepper
